Whether at undergraduate, graduate, young professional, or performing artist level, this is a unique and one-of-its-kind opportunity for singers to learn from the best in the field, expand their professional network, and form lifetime connections.
You can learn a new role or work on a role you already know, prepare an audition package or recital program, or audition for leading casting agents and managers -
There is no age limit. Everyone is welcome to apply.
-
Applications are processed two times a year:
December 1, 2025 deadline for enrollment starting in January, 2026.
August 1, 2026 deadline for enrollment starting in September, 2026.
You will receive a notification via email to let you know whether you will be invited to a virtual interview or not. -
Your individual program starts as soon as you enroll and will depend on the specific curriculum built for you.
At the moment of enrollment, your information is sent to your coaches so they can schedule directly with you. You will have 6 months to complete your coachings with them, but they can extend this deadline for another 6 months.
Masterclasses take place throughout the whole year and participating students are notified a few weeks in advance so they can plan accordingly.
Singers’ workshops take place weekly almost throughout the whole year - this is an excellent way to try out the repertoire you are working on in front of your peers.Career consultations and the virtual audition tour are scheduled towards the end of each student’s program, once they have reached an optimal level of preparation.
-
The virtual audition tour is a new offering in the Academy, and it is open for everyone to apply separately, whether they sign up for a program or not.
Please keep in mind that the bar for acceptance to do a virtual audition tour is higher than for the program itself, so we encourage you to sign up for a program first in order to be fully prepared.
Once a the prospective singer has been accepted, they will have one private consultation with David Lomelí and one private consultation with Catherine Pisaroni, to review their audition materials.
Next, these materials will be sent to the audition panel, who will then send written feedback to the singer.
Potential professional engagements will be discussed directly between the panelist and the singer.

Program
-
The backbone of the program are the Group Classes where students will have the opportunity to sing through their entire role throughout the year for their colleagues, practice rectiativi with maestro Abdiel Vázquez, participate in group discussions about the featured operas, or try out the repertoire they’re currently working on
Students will be assigned to participate in at least two Masterclasses: one with a star singer according to your selected role, and one with a master coach. All the Masterclasses have a Q&A session at the end, so students will have an invaluable opportunity to share and learn from our incredible Faculty of singers and coaches.
Students will be assigned a pre-determined number of individual music, stage, language, or voice Coachings according to your role or goals within the program.
You will have two personal Career Consultations, one with casting director David Lomelí and one with publicist Catherine Pisaroni. With them you can prepare for the Virtual Audition Tour.
Students will have one individual Role Run-Through session per role with maestro Abdiel Vázquez.
All enrolled students will be invited to a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Additionally, all enrolled students will have access through a closed Facebook Group to all the Group Classes, Workshops, Masterclasses, and Seminars, for as long as you are enrolled in the Academy.
Finally, all the students past and present will be invited to audition to participate in any of Vincerò Academy’s opera productions.
-
The duration of the program is variable for each student and it depends on the time of the year in which you enroll and on the specific curriculum curated for you.
The program will be considered completed once you have had your individual coachings (you will have 6 months from the time of enrollment), your masterclasses, and have had your consultations and role run-through session. The average duration is one year.
-
Once you have finished your program, you will need to stay enrolled in the Academy in order to continue to have access to the closed Facebook Group where all the activities are recorded. You can read about the cost of continued enrollment in the Tuition section.
